Autistic Children (22nd March). The education and training of these children was the subject of an adjournment debate. It was estimated, said Mr. Compton Carr, that there were about 3,000 to 4,000 of these children and he urged more help for the family, more community care, more co-operation between education and health authorities and more research and experimentation in all aspects of the problem.
